ILLUSTRATION

My favourite illustrations are the ones which allow the reader to discover more than what the words already describe. This has alot to do with little details, which might infact be irrelevant but still provide the better part of the illustration’s character. One of the best examples I can possibly think of herefor are Jill Barklem’s illustrations of the Brambly Hedge stories.
In addition to book illustration I am interested in scientific illustration, it being a combination of biology, observation and detail.
